Question Battery Jumping Question

Sorry, but this is a bit like yesterday's post. It sounds like it is OK to jump a Model A with all original components (i.e. generator, 6 volt positive ground, etc.) witha 12 volt car or truck battery. Is this true as long as you match polarities?

Thanks!

Bob

Yes, just do it quick. Don't hook up until someone else can be ready to start the car. Best done as a two man job. Disconnect as soon as the "A" starts.

Be sure all lights are off and that you don't have any solid state electronics, like ignition or voltage regulation.
