I'm taking a guess here. Is this thread triggered by it being Armistice Day over there? It was yesterday here with all of the usual dawn services and marches.

US Navy 64-70, served on Submarines SSN 584, SSBN 640 & SSN 613 I was a Nuclear trained MM1 (SS) - (First Class Machinist Mate - E6 - Submarine Qualified)

My service in the US Army: 1974-1977 Artillery and Transportation Officer 1977-1981 In Dental School sent by Army (Medical Service Corps) 1981-2001 Army Dental Corps Retired 2001 as a Colonel
