51 and 49 Wagon Dash Grain-it wood graining done by me

Was graining these dashes at the same time using Grain-It tools and supplies. Had two different batches of base color. I mixed up the glove boxes so I now have to start over and paint new base, apply grain and clear coat. If you look carefully you can see the slightly different base colors. Should just take a few hours over several days. Oh, well. Have moved on with other projects and graining is in the future. These dashes were to be wall hangers as I have another dash on my 49 and don't have a 51.

Some of my other Grain-It results. The 49 is for my hot rod 49 wagon. It has Dakota gauges, GM style steering column, Fatman front end, 302/AOD, latter model steering wheel, 12v reproduction radio, and air conditioning. Also grained the window trim and tailgate lift(5 pieces in addition to the dash). Graining the inside window trim realy makes the interior pop! Sorry to the Early V8 purists.

My 49 currently out of service. I removed wood and re-varnished it. Brakes were sticking so I replaced vacuum booster and installed a remote tank main cylinder to make bleeding easier. Out of service for several years but have been busy collecting NSXs, S2000s, MR2 Spyders.

The 41 is mostly stock.
