Default 53 Sunliner convertible top

I’m considering the purchase of a 53 Sunliner. I’d like to replace the top with a black one, any ideas on a price? It has a perfectly good tan top, I just prefer black. I would sell the tan top at a much reduced price.
Thanks

Or perhaps it can be dyed black?

Tim, maybe this shop would be worth checking out to see
if they could possibly do a black color change on your top.

The way tops are installed, it would take a lot of care to remove one without damage in tack strip areas. I certainly wouldn't want to install a used top even if relatively new.

If you want a black Haartz top then just plan on purchasing one. The better the quality, the easier the install. The tack strips may need replacement too so there are other things to consider when replacing a convertible top that may include corrosion control and other parts replacements.

This is one link. there are others. Black on black canvas is more expensive than the vinyl but it is a lot more predictable.
