Default Re: water pump removal

I have a 1928 leatherback sedan (restored in 1969). I want to replace my waterpump with a leakless one, have a 2 blade fan & radiatord shroud & locking radiator cap. Questions:
- the radiator locking cap was custom built. I cannot see how it "locks" onto the radiator threaded neck. Looks like there are notches on it for a spanner wrench?
- can I remove /move the radiator with the shroud enough to get thje water pump off? I think I will have to first discinnect the shrout, move it back over the engine to remove the radiator ?
- does the light bar & headlite wiring have to be removed?
