How do you remove the fuel tank from a 1929 murray body town car. Thanks for any help,vaford

The basic nutshell of what you will need to do is remove the Firewall Filler panel located under the Gas Tank portion of the Firewall and the lower cowl section. Then remove all of the fasteners that are attaching the tank to the upper section of the body. At that point, the Gas Tank drops down from the body and comes out from the bottom. If you still have questions, consider starting a totally new thread and I can walk you thru it in even more detail. |
