Well, to begin with, welcome to Fordbarn!

Next, -are you working on a Town Car, or a Town Sedan?

And 3rd, the video is going to be misleading because it is totally different bodystyle.

The basic nutshell of what you will need to do is remove the Firewall Filler panel located under the Gas Tank portion of the Firewall and the lower cowl section. Then remove all of the fasteners that are attaching the tank to the upper section of the body. At that point, the Gas Tank drops down from the body and comes out from the bottom. If you still have questions, consider starting a totally new thread and I can walk you thru it in even more detail.
