How dose front lower cushion remove or will the complete have be removed

there are little metal tabs that goes around the seat spring, then screws that screw into the wood frame, probably be hard to do with seat in car

I just removed the lower cushion from my 37. The 38 might be similar. Raise the seat back and lock in place. Remove the four seat track bolts to the floor pan. There are also four bolts that connect the covered sides of the seat back frame underneath and on the outside closest to the doors. Remove those from both sides (second and third picture). Then remove the 10 flat head wood screws from the back of the lower seat wood frame (forth Picture). Should be able to lift it out.
