Guys, I am very new to the Model A "world" and as such have had to ask for a lot of advice. I am very appreciative to all that have offered their advice. In my opinion and from my experience with other years, the Model A guys have been the most helpful. THANK YOU!!!
Okay, so just a little background... truck was disassembled decades ago... I believe in the 1960s. That box on the back is the authentic RED STAR YEAST box. The body (metal) is amazingly solid. Seat cushions were long gone but a pair was sourced at a local swap. Tried my best to keep the reproduction parts utilized to the bare minimum. I believe this is gonna be a blast once ready to hit the streets. I have done very little restoration work on this project. Rather, my efforts have been mostly put towards making this a reliable and road worthy vehicle. Once it is one the road, I promise to post an update. This has thus far been a super fun project for me. A far cry from my typical concourse restorations (1939 / 1940) and as such, a lot less stressful ![]()

Looks very well built,Notice the body curves with the bottom of the cab.
You may find a small brass tag or something engraved on it. I would like to see some photos of the interior of the box, how it's put together. Wick |

Be careful working on the truck and don't get a yeast infection.

There is a lot to be said about running these old flivers whether they are restored or just good drivers. They are a lot of fun either way.

Hi Kube:
You have a GEM. This is something you don't see very often. I agree 100%, make it safe to drive and keep it original. They are only original once. Welcome to the Mode A Hobby!

The spare tire I placed in there. I doubt that was how it was back in the day.
