Does anyone know of anyone that has got 3 or more Dome head Ford brand 3 1/16 +005 pistons to sell. (1937 engine)
Thing is that the set I got many years ago appeared to have 3 pistons that were no good, and I had a hard time to find the right rings for the set. But I finally found them so I really don't want to switch to another brand or a bigger O.S. Lennart Lundkvist Sweden |

Would you recommend using other old brands of pistons, like Mc Kay Norris or Toledo:I guess they are as good as Ford but I don't any experience of them.

As a matter of fact, I remember doing it years ago when I scored a new set of seven pistons for an 8BA. I went to the local junkyard and went through their "piston pile" and found one that was the right size. Back then, I didn't even worry about the weight. The engine ran fine until I finally sold the car. |
