I have vintique window felt kits for the front and quarter window on my 39 2dr sedan. It came with staples. I got out my interior window trim pieces out and I see staples holes in them. What kind of stapler can go through metal trim? No instructions, and my window felt was removed. Thanks Ron
Also, I believe I need push in felt clips for the outside felt, but not sure? Last edited by rottenron36; 11-14-2023 at 03:51 PM. Reason: left something out |

I made my own staples from wire; then put them in the original holes, then bent them over with pliers, takes a while but worked very well

The above answer is also what I did on my 40. Takes time and patience but results make it worthwhile. Use stainless wire.

Your kit should have small black screws which are easier to use than staples .
