LZ Dealership
This might interest some of you. The car to the left rear tire appears out of proportion to the front tire.Might be the experimental space saver spare of the time?

Re: LZ Dealership
It would be a great picture without that.....it looks like the car is at an angle to the curb so the picture is focused straight on.....the front tires look oversized compared to the car behind it.......Mark

Re: LZ Dealership
That front coupe looks like it was "placed in the photo". If you look through that car's driver window and windshield, it doesn't seem to match the store front in the background. A.I., circa, 1939? I sure would not mind having one of those beautiful coupes.

Re: LZ Dealership
The car on the right is a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe and the car directly behind it in the Showroom also looks like a 1937 LZ. Coupe. Judging by this, as suggested by 47topless, the 1939 Lincoln Zephyr on the left seems to have been added to the photo at a later time. |

Re: LZ Dealership
Just goes to show that perception isn't always reality.

Re: LZ Dealership
1939 appears to be etched into the building concrete face. Rather odd.

Re: LZ Dealership
I think that this is the original picture:
and someone did a very poor job at inserting the 1939 - note that "1939" has been added to the column above the hood also |
