Bought a BoltBuster last year
Used it about 4-5 times, worked great, then it quit. Now it's a Won'tBuster. Impossible to get them to respond about warranty return. This post reminded me. Trying again today. Definitely don't recommend.

Dang. I'm really bummed to hear that. One of the reasons I bought it was because it seemed like their warranty was pretty stout.

Hello to all....I bought the Bolt Buster 1800 and it worked perfectly to remove all 48 hex nuts from the flatheads. It did quit working once (I "think" I got it overheated, because they state 2 minutes of use then 2 minutes of cool down period). I went onto their web-site and followed the instructions for getting an RMA (Returned Materials Authorization) Form, filled it all out via. the computer and sent to them. They responded right back with the RMA number and I noted that number when I shipped the Bolt Buster to them. About 2 weeks later I got the repaired and working unit back.
I have had no problems with them I and I do recommend the Bolt Buster 1800. Bruce in Ca. |

Same story for me. Mine lasted about six months with minimal use during that time. The thought of one is nice but just not as reliable as the old proven methods.
