Re: 1370 mille A update.
That is one Model A that just has to be preserved as is, which will be a lot of work too. I understand the front fenders are shot? Is the interior material still OK? I saw a similar 53K mile Town Sedan here which the mohair looked good but was rotting.
Magnificent car & more photos please as you progress with the preservation. |

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Will you make the car driveable and bring it to a national meet?
I'd sure like to see it sometime. |

The car will be made driveable. The car is just 70 miles outside Richmond VA. and 40 miles North of Williamsburg.

Re: 1370 mille A update.
What's the story on the 16,000 mile '31? Is it a Slant Windsheild model?

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Yes its a slant window. The car sat in a Resturant named "Lowery's" in Tappahannock VA. Very nice car. It's the car on the left in this picture.

Re: 1370 mille A update.
Gibbs is a penetrating oil like Kroil, but Kroil smells better. I don't think there is much odor to Gibbs. I use both and have had good luck with both Gibbs and Kroil.

Re: 1370 mille A update.
2023 Update The car is still in the same condition and has been stored inside for a number of years.
Plenty of visitors have enjoyed inspecting the car. Wick |
