I'm installing a 6.5:1 Head on my Burtz engine, and using Champion WY18 plugs. What is the recommended gap for my spark plugs

Spark plug gap for modified engines require a bit of experimentation on your part. you can start with standard gap setting and then either make it smaller or wider to see how the engine response changes. I set my 3x plugs at .025 for the best running when I changed to a 6 to 1 Brumfield head.

I have a 6.5 Burtz head, stock distributor but high output coil, and 0.035 gap. A smaller gap at the rotor in the distributor helps.
