In my case the windshield frame hits the hood because my wood is pretty bad above the windshield. I got my screws to hold tight when I shoved dowels in the holes, but the wood frame is so bad that the bolts through the corner brackets can’t hold the header up high enough to clear the frame under the windshield. I made a pair of metal braces to hold it up until it cools off a bit and will get into the header this winter.
