Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements) The "coil spring" on the passenger side on the 53 Merc is weak and thus the hood holds up about half way and when shut the hood I have to push that side down snug at the cowl. Is there an adjustment or do I have to replace it....maybe both while I'm at it? If so, what are we talking here? Don
