Exclamation carb

On my Holly 94/59 which is on my 59a,I was having carb problems, so someone said take top off and fill float bowl with fuel and check in morning, as soon as I filled bowl started pouring out of the venturas until about half way and then lost no more fuel, is this normal??.Johna

Yes that would be normal. If it keeps dropping (slowly), then the power valve is leaking

Yes, normal. If you fill the bowl higher than about 1/2" from the gasket surface, the fuel will start to dump out of the discharge nozzles.

To check the power valve, You need to seperate the bowl from the base. If the power valve is wet with fuel on the vacuum side, it needs to be replaced.
