Another vote for Charlie Schwendler. I have had him rebuild carburetors, distributors and fuel pumps for my 1942 and 1948 Fords. He also rebuilt the transmission for the 42. The 42 is the best starting and running flathead I've owned since 1973. Charlie has also given me guidance on other old Ford problems when I needed it. He is a treasure.

Tried many. Charlie is by far the best i recommend sending him carb and fuel pump together price is right

I guess in this day and age, just "Charlie" is not specific enough. New York, not Florida.
