How do one replace the windshield motor on a 53 ford car

Best to remove the front seat and give you lots of room to move around. Not an especially nice job with the dash in. Did it my 54 (went to electric wipers). If you can take a picture of the assembly if it's still in (before you remove it)

The motor in my 53 didn't work well till I gave it a dose auto trans fluid. Let it set after manually exercising it. Just a small amount will swell the paddle seal & mine worked fairly good.
