Default 1930 Coupe firewall color

Was the firewall on 30 Coupe painted color matching to the car or was it black? Seen several online that color match and some that painted black just like the fenders. This is just going to be a little driver car and not show Quality. Just wanting to know how it came factory so I can paint it.

I believe the answer is body color but not buffed out.

Correct. Lower body color if two tone and not buffed.

Okay, next question is what green is this? I buff the quarter to see how it looks likes. Not painting body but wanting engine bay looking fresh. Plan on painting firewall.

While color renditions vary... those don't look like Model A colors to me. You'll have to go to an automotive paint store or body shop to get a computer color match blended. Some auto paint stores have extensive color chips and formulas (my local NAPA store does), and if you can find one close enough they may be able to mix it in rattle cans. It won't be a catalyzed paint but likely good enough for a firewall.

1930 coupe color charts are here:

https://www.mafca.com/tqa/p-30coupe.html (Standard)

Looking at color chips online is unreliable as different monitors may render them differently. Even if your color is original, new paint mixed by formula may not match. As JayJay said, you'd have to get it computer matched and custom mixed. But it's easier (and probably cheaper) to match a stock color as close as you can. On an unbuffed firewall in a driver, it shouldn't matter if it's not an exact match.
