One thing that causes me to lean toward the Stromberg is that it is so much easier to work on and with (for a so so mechanic (me)). There is no doubt that a Webber can be tuned to work better than the Stromberg but you really need to know what you’re doing and probably should have an air/fuel sensor. My understanding is that the Webber will deliver better fuel economy if that is a priority.
