1949 Ford
Changing the throw out bearing on a 1949 Ford three on the tree. Can’t find the clutch fork anti rattle spring. It’s just a small u shapped wire that holds the clutch fork tight from rattling. No one sells it anymore. Is there a replacement for the original?

Re: 1949 Ford
This is an old thread link but it covers all the late 40s & early 50s clutch throw out set ups.
https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34041 This link illustrates what they look like. https://www.2040-parts.com/1949-50-5...562-b-i346220/ If you can't locate one by google search then contact Fred at Southside Obsolete. His handle on hear is barnfind08 if you want to contact him by PM. He also has a website. |

Re: 1949 Ford
Those are the later types. They are not the same as the 8A part.
