Agreed on the project car - it is a '46. The park light shape/position and the color scheme of the the speedo & clock are unique to that model year.

We've spoken in the past. frankly, most of the engines you speak of will go for scrap. the cost to tear them down, magnaflux etc takes you nowhere financially, unless you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time.

I found the park light shape/position that you mentioned in Dad's old parts book. Thanks for the info! So, it's a 1946 but titled as a 1948...

You may well be aware that if a former owner lived in another state the title only reflects the date that the vehicle was registered in Pa.

The info posted by 1942deluxe and FortyNiner is correct
