If it's a small leak, try pennrite steering grease.

No OO grease for me, just repaired my two tooth gear box after trying OO and 600W mix. Steering was ok before but leaked, I’am thinking the grease couldn’t get to the sector bushings and then got so tight it took two arm’s to turn. I used a new sector housing with the roller bearings, now two finger steering (rolling down the road) IMHO a leaking gear box is better than OO grease in a gear box…….or rebuild your gear box.

I have Pennrite in four of my old Fords. No leaky and easy steering. Pricy but the one bottle still has enough left for another car.

Pennrite Steering Box Lube and an "O" ring (https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/p...7909&cat=41749) on the sector shaft seemed to work for me.

Can you isolate where the leak is coming from ? Sometimes the large gasket between the mating surfaces doesn't seal.

Do you have the steering housing end plate with tube?

The plate with the tube that RoadsterJohn has a link to.
Fix the leak then use 85W-140 gear oil. The modern oils have additives that will extend the life of your steering box and make it easier to turn. Do not use grease because it will get pushed out from between parts causing them to run dry and will not get into the bushings.
