Tom Endy and others mention machining a relief into the brass secondary well to correct a problem. Does anyone have detailed information on how and where to machine this relief? I would like to try it.

With the secondary well installed and tightened in position, remove the Compensator Jet and using a sharp nail or awl, scratch the side of the secondary well. Then remove the Secondary Well and using a dremel tool, grind a groove around the Secondary Well from the scratch mark to the fill hole. Dont't cut too deep, just enough to increase the gasoline flow rate to the fill hole. I hope this is helpful, Ed

Thanks Ed
I tried to upload a picture of the one I machined with the Dremel, but it said invalid file. I need to learn how to do it. |
