I've holidayed lots in Australia Love the place but there are heaps of things that can kill you . Give me New Zealand any day to live in No snakes No crocs and one venomous spider -that is very rarely seen and reluctant to bite pepole when it is and even if it does it is unlikely to kill you.In fact the most dangerous thing in New Zealand is our New Zealand citizens that have lived their whole life in Australia (most of it in prison)and are deported back to us

Kangaroos are culled every year around here by the local govt. using professional shooters. The reason is that too many of them damage the native vegetation.

There is general native animal protection, but the law allows for permits to be be issued to deal with anything that is overpopulating.

Corellas in large numbers are capable of stripping fruit tress bare in short time. My wife's late Grandmother used to complain of too many gorillas in the orchard.
How did we get here from the original subject???
