Good morning.
I was wondering where a guy can get the drawings for the front inner fender wells on a 36 pickup? Mine are butchered up some and I'd like to see what they are suppose to look like. Thanks Mark |

Check here on page 3 post #45
https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298830 Sorry, I mis read your post. Rather than make your own, (the top edge is a bit complex) look for a set off of a 1 1/2t truck. You will need to fuss with the bottoms a bit but the tops are spot on. A paper pattern can be used to determine the cut edge on the bottom

The top edge on these things is in good shape. They cut parts of the bottom half to make room for after market shocks. Do you know if both sides are the same except for a right and left?

The link, if you go down about 1/2 way, has a Services area. In there is a place where you can ask a research center expert, and another place where you can get fee-based remote research. Maybe this helps. https://www.thehenryford.org/collections-and-research/

These aren’t the best but you are correct about being the same shape for R & L.
Send a PM If you need a tracing.

Thanks guys,
All the info and pictures help greatly. I can fix mine with a little sheet metal work. Just wasn't sure exactly what they looked like. When I got this truck it had an old Doge hemi in it. They had to cut the chassis, firewall, floorboard and fender wells to get this thing to fit. I'm trying to get it back to original. |
