Default Re: How do you identify ethonol resistant carb kits?

I had a failure of a ethanol resistant power valve in the late model Holley on my chevy truck took very old one out of flathead carb it went 10 years ---so being new and labeled ethanol resistant may not be any better than ordinary kit

Do you recall if that power valve was a genuine Holley or maybe it was one of those generic 6.5" out of a rebuild kit? I had one of the latter fail in maybe a year without much actual use, not anything like a daily driver would see anyway. Its replacement seems to be OK. But .. keep an eye on plugs they sure foul up fast when the power valve goes.
