1. I use a battery cut off solenoid attached to a remote door lock module. I use the key fob to disconnect the battery.

2. I also use the original steering lock that also locks the ignition switch.

With this setup someone would have to tow the car. Might be overkill for some, but if you have a car that doesn’t lock like a roadster, it gives a little more since of security.



Looks complex but a simple circuit. The door lock module activates a couple relays that operate the solenoid.
