i'm rebuilding several 26-27 model T open car door latches.

does anyone know a source for replacement springs? or maybe what length they should be?

mine are broken into 4 or 5 pieces so i know the diameter and wire gauge but can only guess at the length.

Langs has a door latch repair kit #5679-80RK includes all the springs and rivets needed to repair both the driver/passenger side door latches.

I would call and confirm with Steve over @ Langs, if they do not have what you need Chaffins or Snyders are other sure bets.

Good luck and let us know how you make out with those springs.

that kit appears to be for a coupe or closed car

I have some door latches that could use a refresh-- where did you find the springs? What is the wire size and diameter that matches the original (I haven't tried taking my latches apart). Thanks!
