Default 1941 1/2 ton perch bolt ????

Good morning everyone.
Well here I am rebuilding my 41 half ton front axle. We talked awhile back about the perch bolts needed to install the sway bar from a sedan. While cleaning my axle assembly I notice my perch bolts have two holes in them . The shock link goes in the top tapered hole . The lower hole has my attention as it has a grease fitting and is bushed with a brass sleeve. It is 5\8" in diameter and 1 1/4" long. Did, could or should ford have hooked a sway bar up here? If not what goes here?
As always thanks for all your help, Tim

Sounds like you have early 40 perches for the early 40 sway bar. Got a photo? It will be very difficult to find all the pieces and parts to the early and obsoleted 40 sway bar suggest you use the more typical later 40 41 perches.
