The shop manual is the present from my wife once I get the Ford in the garage.

The shop manual is good but also buy a copy of the manual that the first owners got when they bought the car. They are reproduced and don't cost much. look for the one closest to your car year. Lots of good "owner" type info that gets overlooked in other books.
