40cpe Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Star, MS Posts: 4,120	Re: 58 Ranchero 292 3spdOD Starter engaging in Run position Sounds like the two small wires on the solenoid were reversed. The wire to ignition coil is sending the start signal to the solenoid.
