I know driving should be an experience, but sometimes we get thirsty and I don't want to share a canteen. Looking for an easy adaptation for the front seat occupants to have a styrofoam cup.
Thanks. |

I bought this little guy for a tour earlier this year. Fits perfectly between the coupe bench and shift lever. Freeze four water bottles and put them in the cooler area. Easily removable for shows. I think it was $20.

Here's a picture of my cup holders mounted to the dash. They are
available @ Snyder's. I believe the picture will enlarge if you click on it.

This is my cup holder made out of one length of copper wire. I used solder to stiffen up the assembly. I think it looks period correct and it works well mounted to my dash. |

Now that is a cool design! Reminds me of something homemade or like the Beverely Hillbillies would have.

Here is a pick of the one that I made. It works well for two large cups.

Added some mahogany trim and woodgraining to one of the steel holders that are commercially available.

I want to see how this cup holder works while downshifting and turning through a corner???? I do recall some female in the news who put a cup of hot coffee between her legs while driving. The coffee spilled, it burned her thighs. She sued MacDonald's and won a few million. I am not suggesting you try her technique, but how many Model "A's" and other toys could one buy for a few million???

Not at all like the McDonald's coffee law suit happened. A little Google search will reveal the real details. https://www.caoc.org/?pg=facts

I use a 1 pound coffee can with one screw into the floor board.
A local auto parts store has a banner hanging on the wall that says "Remember the days when your cup holder sat next to you wearing a poodle skirt". |
