It has been a while since I purchased Transmission gear oil. What is available now. Remember that sae 900 crap that was like refuse from a burger pit?

Re: 1933 transmission "gear" oil Depends on the transmission. I use ATF in my T5. He CLEARLY states "1933 transmission "gear" oil" in the header....less than 1 inch away from where you question the transmission type! DD |

I've always used 80W90 GL4 in the trans....would I be better off running 140? Why?

More to do with climate BB .. Im now trying the 85-140 mineral from Penrite its a GL5 but its supposed to be ok. As you know Im sub tropical no freezing here ..
