Default Kudo's to Lang's

Thanks to Lee Crenshaw for the letting me know that Lang's had the quarter window rod parts I needed in a prior post.

I ordered the parts online from Lang's and the shipping quoted for the very small pieces was $13 on a $25 order. I am becoming more disgruntled at the high "postage & HANDLING" fee but needed the parts to progress.

When I got the email confirming my order and shipping the cost of shipping was $2.70. Now that is what I would expect for such a small package.

I called Lang's and spoke with a nice lady and told her how pleased I was that they took the time to put a small order in a postal envelope for mailing. She said that they were aware of the shipping costs and were doing their best to downsize packaging to fit the smaller merchandise.

I will look to Lang's more in the future for my orders. Maybe this spirit will catch on?

Don Lang is a class act. When I owned my Model T, I bought most of my parts from Langs. Nothing but terrific service.

They bought a pile of parts from me when they were first getting going and I have had nothing but good luck buying from them over the years. In the past I also bought a ton af stuff from Snyder's with equal satisfaction.

Lang's is a class act. I've got my first order coming now. Talked, helped me figure out what I needed and none of the BS I experienced with a larger vendor on the Canadian border.

When I need T parts Lang's is my first stop, every T guy should have one of their catalogs. Many parts and tools other suppliers don't carry.

Doesn't get any better than Don Lang and his crew. They were my principal supplier when I was in charge of the T-100 project for Ford Motor Company. We could not have done it without them!
