If you're going to do a poll, do an actual poll. The board lets you start a poll on any new thread.

I run mine on Wild Turkey. Runs great, and when I break down the fuel bowl makes a great glass while I wait for the tow truck.

LOL. I don't think mine has ever made it to 50% diesel, but, it does get some at times. When it gets to 40º it's tucked away for the winter. Actually, now, so am I. ![]() |

I have encountered problems with ethanol in my Model A, my older cars, and even my motorcycles. Ethanol eats up everyting like gaskets and even the aluminum in the carburetors. I now only use non-ethanol gas (where available) with additives. No problems for the past three years!

I have non-ethanol gas delivered to the house from the Co-op. Last delivery was $3.47 a gallon. Worth every penny when you factor in the price of a Honda carb on a 10hp pump. Enough small engines to justify the extra cost.

I live in Orange County, NY where only 10% ethanol is available. However, two adjacent counties (Sullivan and Ulster) have some stations with ethanol free gas available so I try to keep my gas tank at approximately 25% non-ethanol; so far no apparent problems.

As stated, a Model A will run on most any fuel, so what ever is convenient and lowest in
price is what I run. Have not run diesel or kerosene yet. LOL

My car sits over the summer here in Florida when it is too hot to enjoy the Model A. I use ethanol when I know I am going to burn it up and non-ethanol when it is going to be sitting for six months. Ed
