I think now only one reproducer makes a 21 stud 1937 1938 cylinder head.H and H sells or did sell a set of these with SHARP castings. My question is back in the day did all the speed manufacturers like Edelbrock and Offenhauser make these heads specifically for the 21 stud '37 and '38 engines,85 HP not 60? I know a lot of them made the heads for '36 and earlier with provision for water pumps but my inquiry is for the short two year run 21 stud heads.Thank You.

Years ago, I had a set of 21 stud "Cyclone" heads for the '37-early '38 Fords.

I assume that the question about aluminum heads for a 21 stud engine would be 'the finned type' not something similar to the stock '35-36 Ford aluminum heads.
I would surmise that '37-38 21 stud high compression heads would be in the unobtainium category. Due to the tough times of the late '30's very few company's would be making speed equipment for such a small select market. After WWII ended most performance minded people would be re-powering their cars with the much better 24 stud engines.

In my old "Racing Equipment Co" speed parts catalog ,which lists most of the finned heads available at the time , EDDIE MEYERS is the only company listing 21 stud finned aluminum heads in various comp. ratios for 1932-36 Fords. $72.00
