It has the grose jet style needle and seat. It is what comes with the new stromberg carbs. I tried tapping on it while running but it did nothing. I thought the grose jets were far and away better than the needle and seat versions. This carb is only a year old. Shame that you have issues after a year and spending $500.

The inlet valve in the new Stromberg can be VERY sensitive to any particles in the fuel and/or any corrosion. Some get removed and cleaned and others get replaced.

Easy there. My car has been on the road driving for over 10 years and never had these problems before swapping engines. Gas tank, lines, all the same.
