1938 Temperature Gauge
I'm looking for a 1938 temperature gauge setup with sender etc. but none of the usual parts suppliers have any info on this. Have they stopped making them?
I don't have one period, so can't even think about getting one repaired. Al |

Re: 1938 Temperature Gauge
I see them pop up for sale in the swap meet section here or on E-bay every once in a while. I don't know what it would cost to have one repaired if you had both ends to work with, probably more than buying a good complete assembly.
Search for "temperature gauge" in the swap meet area and contact the sellers to see if someone still has one available. 37 through 39 will work, just may need to change the face plate to match your gauges. Last edited by Zeke3; 02-22-2021 at 03:17 PM. Reason: added info. |

Re: 1938 Temperature Gauge
So, jumping into this conversation: I'm in need of having my '39 Deluxe Temp Gauge either repaired or replaced. Does anyone know someone who repairs them? And do those of you who said you had one available still have it?

Williamson's in Chester, Arkansas. https://williamsons.com/ Quoted me a fair price for the temp gauge in my '39 p/u but decided just to keep using the dual after market gauges mounted below the dash.

Re: 1938 Temperature Gauge
Thank You very much. I found the business in Ohio: http://antiqueinstrument.com
I also had someone reply to me privately with one for sale, but I can't figure out how to respond via private message. Something about me not yet having 10 posts? |

The problem is you have to have 10 or 15 post before you can use some of the features on the Barn.
