Has anyone had experience with installing the ‘28 shroud (original) with a reproduction radiator? The radiator in my 28 appears to be the low price version available from Mac’s. I’ve done a bunch of measuring and looks like the bottom tabs on the radiator are in the way- I’m curious if the tabs on an original or a Brassworks show quality radiator are in a different spot or orientation?
Thanks! |

It’s been a while, but it was difficult aligning the shroud tabs on my radiator. I don’t know what brand the radiator is, but I gave up in the end and used black zip ties at the bottom.

The radiator had been replaced on my ‘28 Sport Coupe. I bought a new outer shroud. I had to trim (cut) the lower section a little bit adjusting it to fit in further- closer to the radiator, grind a small piece of each side of the lower radiator brackets and redrill the four mounting bolt holes. I still have not permanently mounted it back on again - I’m doing a complete body off. Things have pretty much stopped right now.
