Has anyone out there run a dual updraft Zenith carburetor setup, Synchronizing etc. Appreciate any feeback.

I've never even seen such a setup. I very much doubt it could be fitted to a RHD car but because these cars are so forgiving, I wouldn't over think it. If the two carbs are individually good, I can't see synchronising as the be all and end all. In fact, I'd almost expect that at an idle, one is better than two.

Verdirick, if you do Facebook, there’s a group called “Model A Modified”. One of the members recently posted a photo of twin Zenith B carbs hooked up via a Vortex intake manifold. His name is Eddie Pond. Could be a starting point? Good luck!

i have a Vortex set up with twin model B carbs on my speedster.The carb next to the firewall . The fuel adjustment value is preset. The cold start and chocking is done with the front carb.My Voltex came with the linkage set up with it . I have been running this setup since 2015.Hope this helps

My butt dyno says there is an increase in power. The only downside I found was it tends to be a bit cold blooded at startup so I need to get the engine warmed up before setting off, but it is great when up to temp. |
