Hmmmmmm . . . wondering if you can do the same thing I've done with a timing light. Could you connect the negative side of the 12V battery to the frame and them the positive side to the dwell meter . . . while at the same time you're still running the 6V system? Just pondering out loud . . . as I'm away from my equipment on vacation in the Black Hills of SD.
