Finishing an important task or project on one my cars, primarily, but other projects, too. Doing just about anything with my wife.

Family and Fords together is the best. Big smile this afternoon watching my wife take off in her 1934 Ford pickup (barn truck) to get some special hay for a sick horse. My toys have to earn their keep. So far they owe me big time.

75mph on a 90 degree day and not overheating. I'll let you know when I get there.

Frank, I'm going to get serious for a moment. IIRC, your car has overdrive and 3.78's. Are you saying that it starts to over heat at 75 on a 90 degree day in OD? My car (with no OD and 3.55's) runs 10 degrees hotter at 75 than it does normally. I was expecting that installing an overdrive transmission would solve that problem. Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Knowing that every '34 I own needs a little something, but not giving a sh*t about how fast I get them done. That is what I worked all those years of overtime and weekends for.
I am retired and do everything on my terms. |

Seeing antique classic cars in your garage is the greatest. These old cars have such class that no modern car can ever measure up to. Todays kids have really missed out.
