Is there a way to tell an original instruction manual for a 35 car from a reprint. I purchased this one off ebay for $15.00 and the only thing that makes me think it may be original is the brown envelope that it came in. I know they are reproducing the book but I have never seen an envelope being reproduced. There is a copyright 1935 by ford motor company on the inside page but I think the reproductions even has that. Except for the pages being a little yellow it is in very good condition. Ad stated it was brought at an estate sale.

Most of the reprints have a statement on the outside back cover stating it was reprinted with permission from the Ford Motor Company.

This is what an original 35 Owners manual and envelope should look like.
