How does one go about removing the rubber bushing under the steering wheel?

I am going to do this job on my 32 Tudor. I have searched the forum briefly and not found a post which "walks" the reader through the process from beginning to end, so I will try to do a good job with photos etc.
I do not have a steering wheel puller, so something will have to be made to do this job. Then the correct bearing will have to be sourced. Thank you David, I will measure the ID of the column tube. I suppose it is possible there is not a bearing which is an exact fit, and some machining will be necessary, but I hope not. Any more advice before I start would be most welcome! |
