Does anyone have a photo of a 1931 4-Door Model A with black-wall tires that you could post here or send me via E-Mail?
I would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks, Bill Lee/Virginia Peninsula |

Here are a couple of photos that I saved because I really like them.
Not my cars. I have a note that the maroon one belongs to Marcus E. & the black one belongs to Mike C. Both very beautiful cars. |

Here is something as a comparison. Same car, same location, same timeframe. The reason the car is reversed in the pictures is we had 3 whitewalls installed on one side, and 3 blackwalls installed on the opposite side to get a comparison.
. . . . . . . . |

White walls should be accompanied by curb feelers, mud flaps, mirror dice and interior air fresheners....
Black walls should be on Model A's IMHO |

Ah, a Model A Ford with black wheels and blackwall tires. As found in nature!
They always look best to me set up like that. I was never a fan of w/w's and painted color rims. Don't even mention the chrome doo-dads some people booger them up with ![]() |

In Brent's pictures; The one with white walls, my eyes are drawn to wheels first not the car. With the black walls, I see the car first.

I am mulling around a future color change and this helped. My wife and I agree that a model A with some wheel colors looks better with whitewalls, like Jeff P's car.
But if you change the wheel color to straw like in Brent's, the black looks better. Agree with Redmodelt that the straw and white distracts from the car.
