I just did mine myself using a table belt sander, I took them slowly down until the drum would fit over the shoes, then laid a piece of sandpaper in the drum and sanded the shoe by turning it back and forth until I had a smooth arced surface.
I had the same problem finding someone that offers the service, the brakes work fine.
