What is my age?, comes with a story. I am a high-school teacher, I joined the Model A Club to hang out with adults. They are all old. My new two new best friends are in their 80s. After an endearing day of school with freshman, I rush to the garage to work on a car with my "new" two best friends "in their 80s". I walk in and they're playing, "You want to see where the shark bit me" and "You want a "Hurtz donut"". I am 57, 44 years older then my 80 year old friends. I feel sorry for my senior high school girls. We boys never mature.
By the way I won the Hurtz Donut, 80 year olds are whimps.

I am 75. There are a lot of things I can still do but no longer feel like doing anymore. I am cleaning up my '29 Tudor and have hired a guy to do what I don't feel like doing, which is refinishing the underside of the "Jalopy"!

TI am in my 75th year, celebrated my 50th in 2018 with my truelove, bought, restored, and still own our only Model A '31 coupe in '72 when we barely had two nickles to rub together and cleaned the frame (and everything else that needed it) using two B&D drills + wire brushes.

48 years young,
Little personal note my grandfather was 48 when my dad was born, unfortunately never meet my grandfather. I hear he was quite the tinker and owned several Model A's in his time. You know what they say, every other generation, my dad could give a rats a$$ about cars. One of my favorite quotes from an older gentleman when I was younger: "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were" I think this sums it up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McRNSFGwqtY Last edited by lsr490; 01-11-2019 at 02:07 PM. Try 72 on for size. Purchased by first "A" in 1978 - still own it and have added quite a few more to the fleet over the years. Great hobby!

If you're asking for mental age I probably qualify for teenybopper. If you want physical age all I'm going to say is 1945 was a looonnng time ago.

Will be 74 in April. We have owned our 1929 Tudor since 1968. We have owned a few model A Fords before 1968 and owned many more since.

I was 34 when I got my A. I had to have it ready for my wedding, so no time was available to waste RESTORING it. By then I was 35. Kind of odd that a 34 year old guy wants an original A. I don't care, it's my money, and my car. What I like is what counts not some hot rodder. Although, I do have a streetrod.
I'm 58 now. |

I am going to be 70 in July. Got my first car, a 31 Tudor in 1964 or 65. Sold a while later. Bought a barn find 28 roadster pickup in 1972 when I got out of the army. Still have it
