You looking for a standard (painted black) or deluxe (chrome) one?

It will be hard to find one with good chrome. Check with your plater to see if they prefer to start with a painted one or one with old chrome. If I remember correctly it is difficult to remove old chrome without destroying the base metal.

How particular are you? Do you want one for a high point restoration or just one that will work for a driver?

Have you read "The 1932 Ford Book" from the Early Ford V8 club (https://shop.efv8.org/collections/fo...tbound-all-new) so you can identify one when you find it?

The late standard version is that in the upper left hand corner of the photo below. The earlier version has two small round head slotted screws retaining the back cover like on the motor below in the photo. The deluxe version of either type is the same except for the chrome plating.

They are for all North American '32 closed passenger car body types, except the sport coupe, and are the same as in the lower left hand corner of my photo.
